Operata is a platform to digitize mobile money agent businesses in Uganda and later SSA more broadly. In doing so, their aim is to offer agents access to life-changing financial services both directly, through their front-end agent app, and indirectly, through their back end, which provides agent identity, transaction monitoring, and credit decisioning APIs.
